Dedication For Benjamin Leahy Scherer (1984-2004), son of Lisa and Mark Scherer and brother of Eric and Phil Scherer (Prep Class of 2010)
And for families everywhere, who have experienced the death of a family member, especially those of the Creighton Preparatory community, that they may have faith in God’s great love for them and accept God’s grace in overcoming their grief, that they may surrender all to the Lord, even when life makes no sense, that they reach out to others in need, transcending their grief to build up God’s kingdom, not out of duty, but out of great love for the One who died to save all.

For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6: 39-40
